Logo Fun In Photoshop
Just having fun learning how to use Photoshop. I distressed the coloring of the girl, but for some reason Photoshop keeps insisting on sharpening it upon saving it as a jpeg file. Oh well ...

Jen's 30th!
Happy birthday baby!
Had to do this one old school - xerox machine and whatever was lying around the workplace (there's a serious lack of art supplies in the average office setting). Jen's been watching me like a hawk all week, trying to get a clue to her big birthday gift, so I had to do this one on the sly. Reminds me of putting comics together in high school, except the art is much better.

Thursday's Girls (The 50th Post!)
I was posting a couple girl doodles I did recently when I realized this is the 50th post on Kitty Cat Jet Pack! I suspect I should have some great revelation to share about my art since people tend to do that around milestone events but the ol' noodle is giving me zilch.
Here's what I have learned: (1) the more you draw the better you get at it, especially if you do it regularly, and (2) there are lots of talented artists on the internet who are cool and encouraging to newcomers. Thanks to everyone who's commented and/or emailed with advice, praise, or just to say hi. Although no one can live in a vacuum I sometimes come close, so having people leave a word is a big deal to me.
Hopefully this milestone will turn into something irrelevant as I continue to post for much, much longer - I'd hate for it all to go downhill from here. Luckily I'm having too much fun seeing what else I can draw to stop now.
In the meantime, here's a group of girls for a rainy Thursday night in Tampa - in my opinion all well worth a special occasion post:
