I tried to limit my painting to one or two coats to go for a watercolour feel rather than an oil paint one (which is what most of my paintings have been lately). A bit ham-handed in parts but overall I'm not too displeased.

Mike - thanks! you're right about the hands too - amusingly that's how they are on the real woman in the photo - very masculine. When I was drawing it gave me no end of trouble :)
